Privacy

We use Cloud technology to provide excellent features such as remote access right management and notification. But we don’t collect or store your credentials and audit trail on server. The system is designed as using the server solely for communication but not for backup. Your credentials are encrypted in your smartphone and we don’t have the keys. We respect your Privacy. We don’t collect or store your credentials. Your e-key is stored encrypted in your smartphone safely, and we don’t have the key. Besides, we don’t collect your audit trail; only you can view the audit trail on your smartphone.

Most locks use batteries . And again, your mechanical key are still usable.
It depends on how you use the lock, but typically it will last for more than 1 year on 4x AA alkaline batteries.
Before the battery is dead, there are warning such as LED/beeps. Besides, you can view the battery status from the app. If the battery is dead, and the lock provides emergency charging interface externally, you can gain power by connecting a 9V battery. And again, your mechanical key are still usable.
Yes. The solution doesn’t rely on Internet for unlocking. And you can even perform management through NFC synchronization each time you tap the lock.
We need the smartphone on for the Key Butler to communicate with the lock. Since NFC consumes very little power, a quick charge (a few minutes) will be enough to enable Key Butler. Or you can use other methods such as mechanical key to unlock temporarily.
An electronic lock can have multiple ways to unlock. It almost always has a mechanical key option. And since NFC is using the similar technology as MIFARE card, a card might be a temporary before you get yourself a NFC smartphone. And it might be possible to have password-combination (push-button, or touch-button), or even a fingerprint-sensor on the same lock., if available.
Sure. It depends on lock design. Among these, since MiFARE cards are using same technology as NFC, it’s always supported on every NFC lock.
